As a small business, the impact of last-minute cancelations results in loss of income for the day. It also interferes with the schedule for our other clients. Therefore, we have implemented a cancelation policy that aims to protect our business while remaining considerate of our clients.
We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancelations. In the event that you are unable to provide us this notice, a $35 no-show fee will be charged to compensate for the loss of income. Furthermore, we may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation for future appointments. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the service.
We value our clients & understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you find yourself unable to keep your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work to accommodate your needs while minimizing the impact on our business.
Please be on-time! Each pet is given a specific time slot based on various factors (size, breed, weight, service, etc). We are a 1 on 1 appointment salon so arriving on-time ensures that your pet & every pet after yours, receives the proper care & attention they deserve. It also aids in maintaining a calm & relaxing environment.
Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their appointment without any prior notice may result in a no-show fee of $35 and may need to reschedule.
We will notify you 20 minutes before your dog is finished so that you may pick him/her up right when services are completed. Being on time for pick-up is just as important as drop-off to avoid overlap as we are a crate free 1 on 1 salon. This helps ensure each pet receives the proper care & attention they deserve while maintaining a calm & relaxing environment.
If you are not here to pick up your pet within the 20 minutes allotted a $35 day care fee may apply.
All pets MUST be on leash or in carrier prior to entering or exiting the salon. This is to ensure their safety as we are located on a busy street.
We ask that you please relieve your pet before they arrive for their appointment to aid in maintaining a clean & sanitary environment.
We prioritize the health & well-being of all our furry clients, which is why we have a strict "No Fleas or Ticks Policy." If you suspect your dog may have fleas or ticks, please seek proper treatment from the veterinarian to remedy the infestation prior to booking with us. If your dog has an active infestation upon arrival, we will have to cancel your appointment & a no-show fee may be applied.
Double Charge: It's extremely rare, however if your pet is found to have fleas or ticks once the grooming process has already started a double grooming fee will be applied. This additional charge is necessary to cover the extra time, effort, and products required to eliminate the infestation effectively.
At Alpha Dog Grooming, we belive in "humanity before vanity" If your dog is severely matted, under no circumstances will we put them through any pain or discomfort by dematting anything beyond superficial. Therefore, severely matted coats will need to be shaved. Before any services are performed a waiver must be signed by whomever is dropping off for the appointment. Depending on severity, a matt removal fee will be applied, this is because removing the matts takes extra time & extreme carewhile making sure to keep your pet as comfortable & stress free as possible during the process. In addition, it places alot of wear & tear on the tools & equipment used to safely free the dog of matting. Upon pick-up we will discuss an appropriate grooming schedule & maintenance plan together in efforts to ensure your dog feels great & looks their best moving forward!
